long overdue update

first and foremost i must apologize for the lack of updates to our blog! we have been busy busy busy getting our business set up! working out the bugs on our website, finding and purchasing new fabrics, making new products, designing our own unique patterns, and SEWING (not to mention mothering 4 rowdy, rambunctious, and admittedly adorable children) has kept us hopping....and we love it!! things are really beginning to take off and we love being able to stock such fun and fabulous fabrics and products! our customers have been pleased with our wide selection of flannels and our super soft cuddle minky as well as our speedy and efficient customer service. we have too many new fabrics to post here in this blog so to view our complete fabric collection, click here.

we have also launched an online store on the etsy.com crafting site. if you have never heard of etsy, this site is a crafter's dream come true!! from awesome crafting supplies of all kinds to amazing and unique finished products, etsy is a fabulous site to explore. to see our etsy store, click here. we sell precut coordinating fabric bundles at a slightly cheaper price than our own online store. we also sell our finished products on our etsy store. check out the new bag designs that we have come up with. they are the perfect multi purpose totes made from our hip and fun fabric. click here to see the bags!

mom and i are going with my 2 sisters to utah in may for the international quilt market in salt lake city. it will be such a fun girls weekend!! and mom and i are so excited to be able to see SO MUCH FABRIC!!!! our favorite fabric designers will have exhibits there and we are really excited to see their displays. should be great!

Fabulous Flannels Coming this Fall

We are very excited about some new flannel we will be getting this fall. Riley Blake has some awesome new fabric lines premiering in September/October of this year. We will also be selling David Textiles new Round-up flannel. Click here to see the new lines we will be carrying!

price reduction

after being in business for 2 months and conducting extensive market research, we have decided to reduce the price of our minky fabric. all robert kaufman will now be selling for $20/meter (previously $25/meter) and all other minky will be selling for $18/meter (previously $20-$22/meter). remember all prices are listed in CANADIAN dollars!

also, we will be attending the sylvan lake, alberta farmers' market this coming friday - july 23. it starts at 4 pm and is located in the parking lot across from the arena, bordering the train tracks. we will NOT be selling our fabric there but WILL be selling blankets, taggy lap quilts, little miss hoodies, pj tag dolls, and ribbon reptiles. we hope to see you there!!

p.s. if we have enough stuff after sylvan's farmers' market, we will be attending the one in red deer on saturday morning (july 24). stay tuned for more info - but attend the sylvan lake farmers' market if you want to guarantee a purchase!!

we will be using this blog as a way to stay in touch with our customers - to let you know when we get new fabric and make new baby stuff. we are also planning on attending some local farmers' markets this summer. keep checking back to find out when and where!
